My Jamz
I'm thinking of starting a new ~feature called My Jamz or possible something less obnoxious when I think of it, but anyway it's just a way for me to get some of my favourtie songs onto the blog. Tonight's jam is Millie Small - My Boy Lollipop, which was pretty much the first ska song to break into the charts in the UK and is massively important to the whole ska scene I reckon! Though Millie wasn't the first person to record the song I still think her version is the definitive. I'd love to dance to it as my first dance at my wedding one day! Enjoy!

There was a car driving criminally down my road. And as they veered up onto the pavement in front of me I could hear the song that was playing on the stereo and it was none other than my boy lollipop, before they drove off to continue their getaway.
